Lats week we started the contest and we made a presentation to present our process.
We started doing some secondary research about the product, the business EuroGym and about some exercises. After this we did a ethnographic research and get to know the user and the context of the product, with this we could understand the real needs and think about different solutions.
We used different research tools like interviews, little chats with the users, active observation and we acted like if we were users to and try the Powercube to experiment a real experience.
With all this information we gather we came up with some insights like "that it has to have a new or original thing to make people want to use it and get out of their comfort zone with the conventional machinery. Also we discovered that as one of the main features of the powercube is that you can have all your Gym equipment in one product we though that families could be a great target group because you can save a lot of space. But here is where the challenge started... how could we make the powercube fit in a family environment? or how could we make it multifunctional and accesible for all the family? so it was time to made some brainstorming and sketch new ideas.
Here is te link of our presentation, check it if you want to see all our process.
